Review Breakdown
-
Worth the Price
If you are a traveler who only cares about the beach location and is the cheapest rate, then this would be a great value with very modest expectations necessary.
-
Service Experience
Service is very basic, and there isn’t much involvement there seems to be someone for check-in but not much communication during the stay.
-
Hotel Location
I Like the location as a whole because it is completely oceanfront with direct access to the beach.
-
Area Vibe
With the Ocean on one side, and countless restaurants, shops, and attractions on the other, this is the vibrant heart of Myrtle Beach.
-
Cleanliness
Very basic standard of housekeeping provided by property. Guests must be forewarned that this is an older motel and therefore, cleanliness may not be up to a more ‘fancy’ standard.
-
Breakfast
There are not any food or breakfast services at the motel, but with dozens of dining options nearby within walking or a short drive, there are no drawbacks to the motel itself.
-
Bed Comfort
The sleeping accommodations are fine; the beds do their job, and there is little by way of add-on amenities to distance the sleep experience from that encountered at home. However, fixtures are dated and very basic.
-
Internet Quality
It does offer basic Wi-Fi for free, and for those not familiar with it, basically it tends to be poor old countryside motel with slow and unreliable connection
-
Room Freshness
The property feels very run-down and neglected. The decor, furnishings, and facilities are decades old and in a poor state of repair.
-
Quietness Level
Located in a lively part of the beach anyways and with the flimsiness of the walls, I would guess this motel could get very noisy mostly from the street and the rest of the guests.
-
Long Stay Comfort
Recommended for a quick low-cost beach break only for those who can bear noise and dated surrounds.
-
Parking Facilities
Free on-site parking is a big plus, although, during the busy season the lot can be a little tight and fills up fast.
