How to Arrive

Most guests would find Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) to be very practical since it is positioned very close to the Twilight Surf Motel. This is just a 5 to 10-minute drive, so transfer tends to be very quick and not stressful. Taxis and Uber or Lyft ride-hailing services are easily available at the airport and would present the best, most convenient mode of travel to the motel. A number of shuttles work out of the airport as well.

Finding the motel if you are arriving by car is very easy. It is located right on South Ocean Boulevard, which is the city's main street that runs the full length of the coast. Major highways to Myrtle Beach are US-17 and US-501. Free on-site parking at the motel is a big advantage and a huge cost saver in a busy resort town and very convenient where beach parking can become very expensive.

While the car is the main avenue of transportation, luckily, there is the local Coast RTA bus system that goes along Ocean Boulevard. This can be an extremely cost-effective way of getting to destinations further afield such as Broadway at the Beach or the Tanger Outlets when you haven’t rented a car. However, for sightseeing the immediate central Myrtle Beach area, the motel’s position makes most activities easily walkable.
